Every Body is a Beach Body
At Loop Swim we firmly believe that “Every Body is a Beach Body”.
Co-founder Heather Kaye’s younger one in our Pink Deco Girl’s Bikini
We are big believers in body positivity, embracing our curvy or flat selves, and understand that wearing something we’re comfortable in is key to rocking our fabulous bods. Keeping this in mind we have compiled a list of pointers you might find helpful the next time you go swimsuit surfin’!

IF YOU ARE BUSTY
Busty women look amazing in swimwear and they have the good fortune to still have a bosom even when they are lying flat on sunbeds!
Angie and Edda in Loop Swim’s new Loop Top and Keep It Brief Bottom in Coral Deco and our Bandeau Top (with removable straps) and Miracle Bottom in Noir.
We recommend supportive bikinis which allow you to mix n’ match the size and make sure you get that perfect fit. Our signature Loop Wrap Top is a perfect example that gives optimum cover, support and you can adjust your cleavage to perfection with that tie!
If you were ever doubtful about how the top holds up, here’s Angie jumping off the junk in hers in Hong Kong!
IF YOU ARE SMALL BUSTED AND/OR PETITE
Being small busted and petite means you can basically choose any swimwear you like – think plunge necklines, bralets with no padding or push ups with underwire. The best thing about being small busted is that you can run and jump in the waves without fearing a ‘nip-slip’. How great is that!
Acro yogi and world traveller, Jingyee, in ourSilver Kaleidoscope One-Shoulder in Australia
If you do want to appear bigger busted then go for a swimsuit that totally covers your bust, this will emphasise your assets!
Our friends Tyla and Courtney in our Plum/Rain Cicada Martini Halter and the best-selling White/Surf Ginkgo Hustle Halter (items back in stock soon!)
IF YOU ARE PEAR SHAPED
Being pear shaped used to be a pain in that gorgeous bum, but thank the heavens we are no longer living in the 90’s and big bottoms are in! We say rock it and show off your beautiful pear-shaped body and remember that bottoms with skinnier sides help make those legs look longer. If tie bikini bottoms are not your thing, choose our Keep It Brief which covers the topic and shows off a great leg with its sexy cut.
Our favorite Banu in our Time Warp T-back Sarah Top and Keep It Brief Bottom at her annual retreat in Thailand!
IF YOU HAVE AN ATHLETIC FIGURE
WE WANNA BE YOU! Athletic figures are beautiful! We love seeing athletic women showing off their abs in little bikinis – channelling Megan Rapinoe here!
If you feel you are too straight up and down, then choose swimwear that adds the illusion of curves; think bold prints – our speciality! If you are looking to be sporty then there’s nothing better than our Monokini and our swim skirt that allow to be your most active self without anything being tugged out of place even by the most persistent of little handlers you may be chasing around on your family getaway.
Here’s gorgeous Joni paddle-boarding in our Serena Swim Skirt and Silver Kaleidoscope Sunseeker Rashie.
And our model Dorothy (in Thailand), who was so thrilled with the freedom that came with the Monokini she decided to jump for joy off our catamaran on shoot!
IF YOU’RE SUPER CURVY
Curvy bodies are amazing! We love curvy women rocking a ‘pin up’ style – here’s raising a glass to you, Ashley Graham!
We know you cannot go wrong with a vintage style swimsuit, no matter what your body type, but they look especially amazing on curvy women. BUT if you are ever looking for more coverage and want the flexibility of a bikini, then there’s our Tankini! Perfect for poolside and yoga and can be paired with a swim bottom, our swim skirt or your favorite pair of tights.
Our friend and muse Martina rocking our White/Surf Martini Halter at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore (item back in stock soon) and again in our Noir Tankini and Serena Swim Skirt at Hydromania in Italy.
Finally, we want to say that we have the right to our bodies, fuss over its flaws (as we perceive them, you know we do!), and display it at will! Whether it’s Meghan Markle being a gorgeous yogi in California sunshine, then choosing to bring it down when she turned Dutchess, Anne Hathaway choosing to announce her pregnancy with a filtered Instagram, or Loop co-founder, Heather Kaye kicking off Loop’s Instagram profile with her own long-shot, Loop stands with all women in their right to choose how much or little coverage they want for themselves and however many filters!
